At CompAtlas we care about your privacy. This policy explains what data we process and why.

Data we collect

Company data: Corporate information compiled from public sources (company name, website, province, category).
Contact data: The email address and message you send through request/contact forms.
Technical data: IP-based rate-limiting records, kept for a limited time to secure the service and prevent abuse.

Why we process it

We process data to provide the directory, respond to your requests and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data to third parties for advertising.

Cookies

The application uses only functional storage to remember your preferred theme (light/dark); it does not run third-party advertising cookies for tracking.

Data security and retention

Data is protected at our infrastructure provider (Supabase/PostgreSQL) with row-level security (RLS) policies. Contact data is kept for a reasonable period until your request is resolved.
