Data Removal Request

You can request that your company's profile be removed from the directory. Your request is processed within 72 hours under KVKK.

What do we remove?

CompAtlas lists only publicly available corporate company information (company name, website, province, category). On request, your profile is removed from the directory and a block record (tombstone) is created to prevent the same domain from being added again.

How to apply

You can submit your removal request in one of two ways:

  • Email: write to [email protected] with the name and website of the company you want removed.
  • From the company profile: you can also send it as a "removal request" through the "Get in touch" form on the relevant company page.

Removing review content

You can submit a notice-and-takedown request about an anonymous review on your company profile. This is separate from removing the company record, and only the disputed content — not the whole review — is assessed.

  • How: write to [email protected] with the company name, the date of the review and your reason for removal (insult, disclosure of personal data, false statement, etc.).
  • How long: requests are reviewed within 72 hours; you are notified of the outcome and reasoning in writing.
  • Right of reply: companies that have claimed their profile can write a reply directly to a review instead of requesting removal. The reply appears next to the review and is usually more effective than deletion.

Removed content is not deleted; it is unpublished. As required of hosting providers by Law No. 5651, the content's timestamp and connection record (an irreversible hash, not the raw IP) are kept for the legally required period. This record is produced only upon request by a competent authority.

Reviews are not verified by CompAtlas and never feed into any score, ranking or badge. A company's position in the directory is not affected by this content.

Verification

To prevent abuse, we may ask that your request be supported by proof of your relationship with the company (corporate email domain, letter of authority, etc.).
